WHAT WE DO

The Arbuckle Karst Conservancy & Research Institute uses an interdisciplinary approach to effectively study and conserve the karst resources of the Arbuckle Mountains and associated uplift areas. Our approach brings together scientists from the biological, environmental, and earth sciences to expand our understanding of the phenomena, resources, and ecosystems associated with karst so that these unique resources may be preserved and protected for future generations. Our work includes field and laboratory studies, consulting, lectures and presentations, submission of articles for publication, and working with students and professionals to carry out research projects in this fascinating region.
